Cuban purchased the Mavericks in 2000 for $285 million.

Cuban help found Broadcast.com to listen to radio stations from other cities so you could listen to games. I actually paid for a service where I could listen to an Eagles game over the phone when I lived in Las Vegas. This was before you could go into a sportsbook and watch the game from an opposing city with satellite TV. Bettors today have it so good. With Sirius you can listen to the feed of any game. It's not that long ago. Broadcast.com started in 1998.
